Hi @evikne71,
If I understand well, you would like a post to be created for each photo in your WP/LR Sync Publish Service, using the date of the photo as the publish date in WordPress?
What would be the content of the post? The title?
You would need to use an extension made for WP/LR Sync that does this automatically. I haven’t developed it, as I thought another developer would do it (as I prefer to focus on the core of the system).
I might develop it as a paid extension, in fact (so that I could maybe hire a developer to help me since I really don’t have the time to do everything myself). Would you be interested in a paid extension that does this?
Thanks for your fast reply!
Each post may content a varying number of photos, it may be only one or several, depending on how many photos I took each day.
The title of each post can be just the capture date, for example “Nov. 11, 2018”. I basically don’t need any written content in the posts, but of course I can manually put in some text later if I want.
If it was possible to do this automatically, it would have saved me for a lot of work! I would definitely be interested in a paid extension for this if it didn’t take too long to wait for it.
If the post you would like to have created have many photos, then it can’t work this way 🙂 You would need to create a collection for each, and then the collection would be linked to the post.
That extension already exists, and it’s free: https://meowapps.com/wplr-sync-theme-assistant/. However, the date would be “as of today”, and not the date in the photo. But you can simply change it to what works best for you 🙂
OK, thanks!
I thought I have read somewhere that there was an extension that could make posts with the date the images were taken. But I’ve probably misunderstood something because of my poor English skills.
Thank you anyway for your help!
