Creating Simple Products as Variable

    I am having mixed products in my csv file simple and variable.

    Variable products I am creating on the base of the same title and no parent, and variations for the attribute color,

    Now the products are having single title in the whole file should be created as simple product but it is creating as the variable.
    And these products have not color attribute as well.

    Also when the products are created as the variable the main product and the first variation having the same SKU that is also making an issue, like in search it is showing double products one for the actual and other is variation as product. is there any solution for this too?

    Hi @shoaib-fareed,

    That’s strange, the “Create products with no variations as simple products” option should have caused them to be created as simple products.

    Please replicate this issue on a sandbox site at http://www.wpallimport.com/debug/, then open a support request at http://www.wpallimport.com/support/ with a link to a product on the sandbox site that shows the problem, and a brief description of what’s going wrong.

    Also when the products are created as the variable the main product and the first variation having the same SKU that is also making an issue, like in search it is showing double products one for the actual and other is variation as product. is there any solution for this too?

    In the “Variations” tab, you need to define a unique SKU in the “Parent SKU” field: https://d.pr/i/2y3ott.
