    Hallo,
I installed GDPR Cookie Compliance and in the 3-rd party cookies section I am forced to enter (in my case) a google analytics script to the head/body/footer. However, I already incorporated google analytics reference within SEOpress plugin within the google analytics section. So I do not have to enter it again. Please is there any way how to skip it? Or could you help me with creation of the google analytics script (I am not familiar with this), which I could put into the footer (though duplicating the SEOpress?
Or does it create any conflict if the script is given both within SEOpress and GDPR Cookie Compliance?
    Thanks.
    Petr

    Hi Petr,

    Thanks for using our plugins.

Our plugin was developed to inject the scripts (like Google Analytics) based on the selected user preferences. This means, if you accept the 3rd party scripts in the GDPR popup, the 3rd party scripts will be loaded to the predefined place (head/body/footer). The injection working with AJAX (javascript) and handles only the scripts added to the GDPR plugin settings, the scripts loaded by 3rd party plugins or by themes should be disabled manually and added to the GDPR plugin. You can easily get the Google Analytics tracking script in your GA account -> Admin -> Tracking info -> Tracking code section. (Read more: http://blog.analytics-toolkit.com/2016/google-analytics-tracking-code-id-check-setup/)

Once you have the tracking code, navigate to WordPress admin -> Settings -> GDPR Cookie -> 3rd party cookies and paste the code snippet to the “head” section. Check if the 3rd party tab is activated to your visitors (first option in the same page, should be “Turn” -> on) and save the settings.

If you have problems by adding the relevant code snippets to the GDPR plugin or disabling the old plugin, please ask your developer to help you on this.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks.
