Creative by Nature theme Sidebar help

    Hi!

    I’m pretty new to using WordPress and I’m starting to get the hang of it, but I’m having troubles with my sidebar. I’m using the Creative by Nature theme, and not using any widgets. Basically, for each page, I just want my most recent posts, (a.k.a., “Latest Headlines”) to show on each page. This is the case on every page: http://livinginnod.com/Studio3d6/?page_id=80, but not on this page: http://livinginnod.com/Studio3d6/?portfolio. How do I get it to match up? I’ve tried several Google searches and I’ve tried combing through the coding the best I can (I’m no pro, but I can read it and sort of understand), but I’m having no luck whatsoever.

    Any help you can give would be awesome. Thank you in advance!

    Howdy,

    It is possible the “Portfolio” page is using a custom page template, which in turn uses widgets from a different sidebar (or no sidebar…)

    1. Edit the “Portfolio” page
    — If possible, that is.
    2. Check under “Page Attributes” to see if there is a custom template used.

    You can check for different sidebars under Appearance > Widgets. Some themes will have the Default Sidebar and us those widgets for most pages, but then have a few other Sidebars that get used in specific areas (like the Portfolio page.)

    Anyway, there are a few clues. Let me know if you need more help.
