Credit2Caption plugin no longer working

I’ve noticed that the helpful plugin Credit2Caption no longer works as of WordPress 3.4.1… it seems that something has been changed in the base code that doesn’t allow the plugin to properly flip the image description and caption fields?

Any advice on fixing it? Or an alternative solution?
