Critical Bug:Login Redirect cases loop

I was playing around with the “login redirect / logout redirect” function in capabilities. https://publishpress.com/knowledge-base/login-redirect-logout-redirect/
On one of my live sites i checked the box “Redirect users to the URL they were viewing before login.” for the admin of the site and now i cannot log in. When I try: the login sends me back to the login page (instead of any other page).
Apart from report this IMHO critical bug, my question is simple:
As I cannot log in. Can I “uncheck” this box for the admin-role by flipping a switch somewhere in the WP database – and – which switch.
The website is still up and running, but is quite annoying no to be able to log into it.
I use Publish press capabilities Version 2.8.1
