    HI Frank,

    I have a question about critical css 😉 i added the api key from critical css into autoptimize but do i also need to install the plugin Autoptimize criticalcss.com power-up? Or is this not necessary?

    I get the idea that critical css is not working because my loading time (largest contentful paint) was 2.1 sec and now it is more than 5 sec (tested via https://webpagetest.org).

    hey steve;
    first of all; the power-up is not needed no, it’s functionality is now enabled in AO itself.

    re. LCP; that’s because the LCP is for a CSS background-image and browsers load those late, try adding
    <img src="https://resethealthperformance.nl/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/personal-training-utrecht-personal-training-1.jpg" style="display:none;">

    to the HTML of the homepage to have the file loaded earlier.
