    Hi Frank,

It might be an issue since the last update (I’m not sure since I haven’t updated the ccss in a while), but updates to the critical css that can be placed under ‘Eliminate render-blocking CSS?’ are not updated in the front-end. The new ccss is saved but it keeps loading the old ccss front-end.

That is likely to be due to object/ database or page caching Wouter, do you have Redis or Memcached? Can you clear the cache of all of those?

No, I don’t use a object cache or page cache. I do use Cloudflare and have purged the cache repeatedly. Everything worked fine a few weeks ago. Everything also seems
to work if I turn off the ccss and in-line all css instead, but as soon as revert to ccss the old style is loaded in the front-end again.

I’m afraid I have no explanation for that, the above the fold CSS is stored in the database as a wordpress option …

Maybe first of all roll back to the previous version (you can download is from https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/autoptimize.3.1.3.zip) and test if that helps. if so, re-upgrade and see if the problem re-appears (which would be Houdini-like behavior).

Houdini indeed… I deleted the plugin and the tables and options I could find. I then reïnstalled the plugin and now everything seems to work…
