Our site had a critical error that caused the entire site to go down. I reached out to our host, and they said the error was caused by the Give plugin. Disabling the plugin brought our site back up.

Here are the error details from the host.

    Hi, @kaejackson.

Glad you reached out. I can help you with that.

From what I can see in these errors, it looks like your website is unable to identify the following file”/home2/pvrf/public_html/wp-content/plugins/give/vendor/composer/autoload_real.php”, and it might indeed be missing.

In this case, I encourage you to uninstall GiveWP and then install it again. Your data should be saved on your database, that’s fine.

I’d recommend taking a backup of the site that you can confidently restore from. Here’s an article we wrote that explains more clearly how to do that: https://givewp.com/backup-for-faster-troubleshooting/

After you reinstall it, let me know if it works.

Your success with online donations is our number one priority.

Looking forward to helping you get to the bottom of this!
