Our site experienced a critical error: (personal reference – NS)

Subject: [XXXXXXXXXXXXX] Your Site is Experiencing a Technical Issue

    Howdy!

WordPress has a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, All in One SEO.

First, visit your website (XXXXXXXXXXXXX) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://XXXXXXXXXXXXX/wp-admin/network/) and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

    https://XXXXXXXXXXXXX/wp-login.php?action=enter_recovery_mode&rm_token=SNIP

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
    WordPress version 6.7.2
Active theme: Custon Theme (version 1.0.0)
Current plugin: All in One SEO (version 4.8.1)
    PHP version 8.3.14

    Hey @ptaubman,

This usually happens when something goes wrong during the update process or when your web site/server is aggressively caching files. I recommend you to simply uninstall and reinstall the plugin. That usually does the trick! As always, make sure you create a backup before doing so in order to not lose any important data in case of unexpected issues.

    Hi @ptaubman,

We haven’t heard back from you in a couple of days. I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
