Critical error after deactivating plugin

I was having issues updating plugins. So I deactivated a major one (Give – WP) and the website crashed. It shows this message: “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”
I went into FTP files via hosting and renamed the plugin. Nothing happened. I tried to upload the plugin manually. Nothing happened. How can I regain access to the dashboard?
