Critical error after upgrading post smtp

    This has now happened on 2 sites we are managing.

    The first one, beitostolenvel.no, went down with a critical error after upgrading to 3.0.1 (or 3.0.2). I had to disable the plugin to make the site work again.

    Today, the second site went down with a critical error, wpcare.no, a multisite running PHP 8.1, bringing down multiple other sites hosted as child-sites.

    On both occasions, everything is fine after disabling the post-smtp plugin.

    I have loved Post SMTP for a long time, but critical update errors are the worst, so unless there is some obvious reason for the critical error on update, then im switching smtp plugin. As a company managing wordpress solutions we dont have time for plugins with these kind of critical bugs bringing entire sites down.
