Critical Error on WPEngine Staging Site

We have a website on WPEngine. The plugin works fine on the production environment, but when I copied the production site to staging, I got a critical WordPress error and the site went down. I did spend time troubleshooting it with WPEngine tech support. We narrowed the issue down to this plugin and had to deactivate it to get the site backup. When I activated it again, the site when down. I was wondering if there’s an issue with the plugin being on a staging site rather than a live site. We are running WordPress 6.1.1, PHP 8.0, and Divi 4.20.2 on both environments.
