Critical Error When redux Installed

    Hello,

    This is my domain and i am using paid theme which name is ekko. When i am going to installed redux plugin it says critical error. So i want to know the solution or may be its php version issue. Please let me know.

    Hi,

    I’ll need you to be specific about the error message, as ‘critical error’ is too vague and doesn’t tell me anything. Once I have this information I can tell you if it’s theme-related. In 99.9 percent of these cases, it’s usually the theme, and Ekko is a theme that has problems with this. There are several past posts where this has been an issue, and it’s been a problem with the theme.

    Also, please be advised if you are using a version this theme updated before September of this year, there was an issue with their support plugin and Redux’s Social Icons extension that causes a critical error when activating Redux. It has been fixed on their end. Please ensure you are using the latest version of that theme by checking their ThemeForest page. As support for premium themes is not permitted here via WordPress posting guidelines, that is all I can advise you to do.

    Please post back here if the update has fixed the issue. If not, I will need to know the specific error message.
