I have been working on my FooGallery today. Everything was good and it is visible on the front-end. However, I tried to get into the gallery later today to edit and I received this message:

“There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

The only change that was made was the .php was upgraded to 8.3 Could this be the problem? I tried to go back to an earlier version and nothing works.

    Hi @jacquijax

I can confirm that FooGallery is fully compatible with the latest PHP versions, including 8.3 and above, as well as the most recent WordPress releases (currently up to 6.8). It’s also backward-compatible with older versions, so the issue you’re seeing is unlikely to be caused by the plugin itself, especially since it persists even after rolling back your PHP version.

To move forward, I’d recommend checking your site admin email inbox. WordPress typically sends detailed error logs there, which can help pinpoint the source of the issue. Alternatively, you can enable WordPress debug logging to capture more detailed error messages in the debug.log file. Once you’ve identified the specific error message, feel free to share it with us and we’ll be able to guide you further.

    Thanks.

    Regards,
    Elvis
