CRITICAL Uncaught Error: Cannot access self

After the last update our webshop checkout was trashed.
We have automatic account creation on checkout on WooCommerce, it kills the checkout process and sends mail but the customer only gets redirected back to the payment form without any success message. (Payment goes through)
