    thanks for the report,
we are checking if it happens at all WordPress 4.4

We are in contact by email, for something else that takes a look here:
I recently receive the report of one debug file and I could see that there are too many “Disabled Functions” in the server.

This might be the cause of the cron can’t work. Cron needs some of these functions like system() or I think also curl

You can see more info on http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13121185/system-has-been-disabled-error-message

In this page are offering few solutions. Also as an alternative you can try external cron from your hosting.

I have few sites with WP 4.4 and WP-cron is working well with WPeMatico.

I continue receiving Debug files to check issues and improve the plugin.

    regards

PD: Support form on http://etruel.com/support/ ?
must select technical support and attach the debug file from the Plugin Settings
