    Hello support team,
I have a strange behavior on my client’s website.
There are two cronjobs running several times a minute, which are currently cluttering up the database.

    The two mentioned cronjobs are:

    • fs_install_sync_open-user-map
    • fs_install_sync_content-protector

    Please contact me, thank you.

What might be important to mention is that this happened after an update.

    Current WordPress version: 6.3.1
Current Open User Map Pro Version: 1.3.23

    Hi @sanhosey,

Can you please update to the latest version (1.3.24)?

Does the issue still persist after the update? If yes, which table of the DB is affected?

    Best regards,
    Daniel

Hello Daniel, thanks for the quick reply.
I can update the plugin only tomorrow morning, because the website has too many calls over the day – let you know tomorrow.

I can already tell you that the wp_options table is affected, there the UPDATE statement is executed up to 20 times a minute.

    Best regards!

    Hello Daniel,

I have now applied the update, unfortunately the cronjob is still executed several times a minute.

    Open User Map: 1.3.25

    Best regards!

    Hi @sanhosey,

I can’t recreate the error in my test environments just yet. Can you please verify with the help with this plugin that this cronjob is active?

And does the cronjob update the “cron” option in the options table?

    Best regards,
    Daniel

    Hello Daniel,

I have already installed the plugin WP-Control. This cronjob is active, I have also tried to pause it but it keeps running in the background.

    To your question: yes correct.

    Best regards!

Okay @sanhosey, I’ve already asked my distribution partner (Freemius) about this as I’m using their SDK. I will let you know as soon as I’ve got more info.

    Best regards,
    Daniel

Would it be possible to delete the two cronjobs via the WP-Control plugin without causing any problems?

    Best regards!

    Hi @sanhosey,

I don’t find your message in my inbox. Please reach out to me through this form.

You can also try to reinstall the most recent version (1.3.26) and see if the error persists.

    Good morning Daniel,

I wrote to you via https://100plugins.com/.

Can I safely remove the plugin without deleting the data?

    Best regards!

    Hi @sanhosey,

Unfortunately I still don’t find you in my inbox. Please use the contact form as I suggested before.

You can deactivate the plugin and your locations and settings will stay in the database. But if you delete the plugin all locations and settings will be deleted too.

    Best regards,
    Daniel
