Crop customization lost when regenerating thumbnails

    Edit: Apparently this only happens with the Force Regenerate Thumbnails plugin,
    another plugin, Regenerate Thumbnails (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/) seems to preserve the crop customizations.

    Yeah, there is currently no support for regenerate thumbnails that are once cropped. All plugins will reset/use the default image-crop.

    @volkmar-kantor: Is there a way for at least preserving the crop data and restoring it? Ideally this wouldn’t be necessary at all, but restoring crop data, even for single images would be already a great help.
