The crop is not saving on the thumbnail. I have tried deactivating all plugins to see if there is a compatibility issue, but still won’t save. Am using version 1.9.5. What I love about the plugin is that you can choose the area for the crop.

I’m pretty sure this is only a very recent occurrence – ie in the last couple of months.

Is it worth my rolling back one version? (and if so, how do I do that?)

thanks so much for any help/advice

https://www.rchittenden.co.uk/whats-new is my blog page. The post in question is right at the very very end. (Oil Portrait of the Artist’s sister)This demonstrates the bad crop as I am using a new image.

I have now sorted this by disabling NGINX on my host server.

Hi, im glad you found a solution. As “NGINX” is the webserver itself, i assume you are now running on an apache webserver now?

Beautiful art by the way! Loving it.

Good point! It was NGINX Direct Delivery that I turned off. Would imagine still using NGINX itself.

“With NGINX Direct Delivery we will serve most of the static resources of your website (images, JS, CSS and others) directly through NGINX to achieve the fastest possible loading time. It works for all kind of applications without additional customisation.

For best results we highly recommend having NGINX Direct Delivery enabled at all times. However, if you need to use custom caching .htaccess rules for your static content you may need to switch it off.”

Is it likely that this plugin might be compatible with the NGINX Direct Delivery at a future date?

(And thank you for your kind comments! Much appreciated. I love your plugin as it means that my blog page can crop exactly as I want which makes the hugest difference)
