Cropping the header

    Hi there,
    My site is http://www.thescienceexchange.org. I want to replace one of the logos on my header, and have a new graphic. However, when I upload it to media library, then set it as a header, wordpress wants me to crop it to a rectangle. It is already the right size!! I cannot undo the ratio on the crop tool either.
    Any help would be appreciated,
