.ngg-gallery-thumbnail span {
font-size: 150% !important;
color: red !important;
background-color: blue !important;
}
The !important directives may be needed, you can experiment with if that is the case or not. The properties are just random values for examples.

Sadly, the client was not as happy as I was with the changes you helped me implement 🙁
It is possible to entirely remove (or change colour of) the borders & white lines around the thumbnail images and captions? See http://mdstone.isp7.org/marble-main/

All my galleries look perfect on desktop however on mobile it has a huge blank space between rows.
