CSS Compliation Failed

    I’m trying to set this up on a customer’s website and I get the following error when I go to menu themes:

    Warning: CSS compilation failed. Please check your changes or revert the theme.

    parse error: failed at $wp_theme: mhscustom/; (stdin) on line 14, at column 1

    This is an old custom theme my company built. I know it’s either theme or plugin related but I haven’t been able to narrow it down yet.

    Hi godthor,

    There is, somewhere in your theme, an erroneous slash in the theme ID/name. Please can you search the theme files for “mhscustom/“, find that string and remove the trailing slash from it? You may need to reactivate the theme afterwards, and I’d make sure to try this on a test site first.
