• Hello!
I installed Link Library (5.8.10.6) a few days ago and got it working alright. Now it suddenly fail to load the link-library/stylesheettemplate.css file… classes are there when I check the html source when the LINKS page has loaded but the settings in the CSS does not format the content of the page.

I guess that some file where this Link Library CSS file is loaded has gone corrupted in some way. I just don’t know where to look for this file. I guess it must be somewhere outside the Link Library package as I don’t think I have done anything that might affect the actual Link Library files. But I have installed other stuff that might have harmed any Link Library settings in files outside the actual Link Library folder.

I’m new to both WordPress and Link Library so I might need some guidance. Please!

From which file in the WP environment is the Link Library CSS loaded?

    Regards!
    Dag A.

Link Library is only supposed to read style from the stylesheettemplate.css file when it is first installed, or when you press the button to reset the stylesheet under the plugin’s stylesheet editor.

If you go to the admin and click on stylesheet under Link Library, do you see style in there? If so, this is where you should be making changes.

Thank you for the quick answer but unfortunately it did not help much. I can make big changes in the Link Library CSS without any visual changes in the link list. I have hit the reset button but the css code does not load anyway. It is not a problem with the css file itself. It is that it is not loaded by WordPress… Anyway, I’ve solved it by simply copy the Link Library CSS code and pasted it in to style.css in my child theme folder. So, now it works! … but it would off course be better if it worked properly… That WordPress actually loaded the Link Library CSS.

So, the question i still: Which WordPress file is it that load the Link Library CSS. It must be that file that has become corrupted and fail to load the Link Library CSS… Well, that’s my theory… I’m really new to this so I might be totally mistaking me on this.

Sorry that it did not load correctly. Link Library is supposed to load the CSS from stylesheettemplate.css once when it first gets installed. The CSS then lives in your database from that point forward. If you press the button to reset to default, it will read back from that template. Can you check if you have stylesheettemplate.css and if it contains the default style?

If the reset function does not work, you would also try to copy and paste the contents of stylesheettemplate.css to the Link Library stylesheet editor.
