• I am aware this is a common problem, but I am a newbie and need my hand holding. Im quite well versed in the dashboard itself but anything beyond that is taxing. So Ive looked for the style.css files and it just doesn’t seem to be there.

    Any help appreciated TIA

  • What make you think they are missing? If you inspect your website do you see missing file errors?

Do you have any FTP access?

    Because…..

“The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
    Theme install failed.”

Normally that means that the ZIP file that you’re using for the theme isn’t complete or correct. If the theme is coming from ww.wp.xz.cn I’d suggest trying to do an automatic installation through ‘Appearance -> Themes -> Add New’. If it’s a commercial theme, or a theme outside of ww.wp.xz.cn then I’d go back to the author/vendor and ask them as no one here can control anything that’s not on this site.
