CSS for menu
-
I recently installed this plug-in, and I’m not sure what to put in the box that asks for the CSS code of the menu I want to disappear when the responsive menu button appears. It is my primary navigation bar. thanks!

Hi bookinfo,
First of all, thanks for downloading my plugin.
You need to put in an ID, class or combination of your main navigation or anything else that you want to hide once the menu button appears.
This doesn’t have to be filled out so if you are using it as your navigation site wide then just leave this blank.
If you need help finding an ID or class of the menu you wan’t to hide then let me know your site address and I will take a look at it for you.
I hope this helps.
Many thanks
Peter
Hi Peter,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I tried leaving it blank and it still didn’t appear on the home page, or anywhere that I could find. I don’t know if I’m missing something or what, but for whatever reason I cannot get it to actually appear on the site. Here is the link: http://66.147.244.209/~nextcult/ The menu I’m trying to make disappear is the one that begins Arts and Culture, the main nav. menu.
Thank you so much for your help.
Kaitlyn
Hi Kaitlyn,
Can you try adding “#main-nav” (everything inside, but not including the quote marks) into the box titled “CSS of Menu To Hide”.
In addition, you will need to increase the Menu Breakpoint value. This is currently set at 400 on your site so you won’t see it until you decrease the page to a very small size.
Increase this to around 3000 or something really high at first just so you can see this on your site correctly and then you can slowly decrease it from here until you are happy.
Please let me know if this helps.
Many thanks
Peter

Thanks again!
Kaitlyn
Hi Kaitlyn,
Great to see you got it working again.
Enjoy!
Peter
