On our website we are generating over 100k css/js data over 3 days.

Is this a normal number? Why is it so high?

I usually just clean it by going ‘Database’ -> ‘Clean CSS/JS Optimiser’.

    Hi,

It sounds like you’re having an issue with random strings turned into unwanted combined CSS/JS files. The following is the part of our documentation that talks about this issue and tells you how to resolve it.

As you can see I have followed the instructions but still generating up to 5k within around 4h but it seems slower.

I checked myself but mostly copied the recommended ones for the flatsome theme as thats the theme we use on http://www.vipbottles.co.uk

What is the normal amount of these scripts within the database?

    Thank you

    Hi,

that pre-defined list may NOT cover your cases

we are gradually building that list based on user report

it may not be the CSS, could be JS as well

please check /wp-content/litespeed/cssjs/ directory , see if you have more CSS file , or more JS files

for normal amount , this is very subjective, depends on your site , how many pages it has , how many original css/js it has …etc

    Best regards,

I checked the folder its only css files. Since last night after purging the cachce it’s only got up to 2.3k and no more is being generated so I assume that’s good. I believe the list has covered most of our cases and this can topic can be marked as complete.

    Thank you
