I’ll need more tangible information for that grovepixels to be able assist in this grovepixels.
* Can you enable this on a non-production site for me to see?
* What error do you see in Safari developer console?
* Do you have any similar problem in anohter browser?
* Have you tried any of the troubleshooting tips from the FAQ?

Just on Safari. It works fine on other.
I see the same error here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/css-optimization-is-breaking-sites-in-safari?replies=6
if it is the same error in the same old (well, ancient is a better term) versions of Safari, then the same solution applies;
I’m afraid your only option (except for disabling CSS optimization completely) would be to systematically exclude one (or more) CSS-files from being optimized.
or do you have this error in more modern version of safari as well and if so, what do you see in the developer tools?
frank
(I don’t have a Mac of an iPhone/iPad, so I can’t test myself)
I’m using Safari Version 8.0.8 (10600.8.9), latest version.
I see this in the developer tools:
<link type=”text/css” media=”all” href=”http://grovepixels.com/demo/theprint/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/css/autoptimize_cd49dbd7de653a28f08686cd568da65f.css” rel=”stylesheet” />
Same with chromes but it couldn’t read the CSS.
I’m using the latest version: Version 8.0.8 (10600.8.9)
And I got this in the developer tool:
<link type="text/css" media="all" href="http://grovepixels.com/demo/theprint/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/css/autoptimize_cd49dbd7de653a28f08686cd568da65f.css" rel="stylesheet" />
screenshot in safari on mac by a facebook friend of mine; https://www.dropbox.com/s/ax1kbh42vnsuu7i/Screenshot%202016-03-29%2018.41.02.png?dl=0
so looks OK, no?
And I got this in the developer tool:

that’s not an error, that’s just the HTML of the CSS-link 🙂

ah, almost forgot; the screenshot was taken in Safari Version 9.1 (11601.5.17.1).
frank
marking as resolved as working on “modern” safari (as opposed to ancient, unsupported safari 😉 )
