Hi @basilj,
On exporting the form as CSV the header and data are not in the same column. Blank values are being overwritten by the next value in the row.
I’m afraid, this is a known bug and our Forminator team is already working on a fix regarding this. At the moment, there isn’t an exact ETA but hoping it would be soon.
Sometime on submission the from also shows the error “A error occurred while processing the form, Please try again”
Are there any steps to replicate the issue? Like you notice the error when filling out any specific fields?
Possible to share the form export so that we could give a closer look at regarding its settings?
Please check the following doc on how to export a form:
https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export
If you are concerned about any sensitive information in the form, then you can duplicate your form, remove any sensitive information, and then export it.
You can share the export file via Google Drive, Dropbox or any cloud services in the next reply.
Looking forward to your response.
Kind Regards,
Nithin
Hi
I’ve also experienced the issue of the CSV columns not lining up with the data.
I know why, if a field on the form is not filled in the, this causes the alignment issue
So if you fill in the fields Name and Phone, leaving the Email blank, below is what the CSV data will be. Because you don’t fill in the email, the data shifts along to the left
Name - Email - Phone

Hi @ctdev2023,
Regarding the CSV export not lining up the data is due to a bug, as stated in the previous reply, which our team is already working on.
I also see you mention that you are getting “error occurred while processing the”, which is a different issue.
If you think it’s something you could replicate always while submitting the form then please do provide the steps to replicate and also the form export as mentioned in my previous reply.
If your concern is only about CSV export, then I can confirm it’s already being looked at. But at the moment, I’m afraid there isn’t an exact ETA regarding the status of the fix.
Kind Regards,
Nithin
