I’m struggling with a recent CSV import, the process is working quite fine, I’m getting the recap screen saying “XXXX products were imported, YYYY were ignored” (see screenshot)but when I go to my Products inventory, none of the XXXX aforementioned products are there. Am I missing something?

Since that is the case, let’s start with a conflict check.
* Take a full site backup.
* Activate: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/check-conflicts/ to enable only WooCommerce for your IP.
Now try the import again. Does that change anything?

thanks for your reply. I followed tour instructions thoroughly but it didn’t change a thing : same “successful” import screen but number of products stays remains unchanged. What would you advise next? Plugin rollback?

Hi @centtreize,
The import screen shows the total number of products imported including variations while in Products > All you will see the number of parent products.
To make it clear, a variable product with five variations will show as 5 products on the import screen but only one product on the products admin page.
You can make a test on a fresh install of WordPress and WooCommerce using a sandbox site like https://instawp.com/ and importing Demo Products.

Thanks for the explanation.
I think I figured out why all variation products are not imported, I don’t have the variable lines in my CSV, so WC doesn’t find parent products…
