CSV Import Not Happening

    Hi,

    I tried CSV import with the two settings – One works and other doesn’t.

    What works is-
    If I have the ‘Product Description’ as a short paragraph without a new line in the description.

    What doesn’t work is –
    If I have the ‘Product Description’ starting with ‘<img class=’ OR If I have a new line in the description.

    FYI – My description has a lot of short-codes and html.

    Could you please help me with this.

    Could you elaborate a bit more on “doesn’t work”?

    In what way does it not work? Does it show an error? Does it fail to create the product? Does it create the product without a description?

    Hi Pippin,

    It does not show an error.
    It does not create a product.
    Only Tags are created.

    Is there any closure to this problem – All I wanted to know if this can be fixed or not? So that I can move on to my next steps. This is dragged for almost 3 days now.

    Apologies for the slow reply here, we’ve had a large queue of tickets to work through in the last few days.

    Could you please send me a copy of the CSV file and a screenshot of exactly how you mapped the import fields?
