CSV Import seems flaky

    Hi there – I’m blown away by the scope of this project and am very impressed how far you’ve got with it – it must be a nightmare to keep on top of, but you should be encouraged!!!

    I recognise it’s a long way from finished yet and I shouldn’t be expecting perfection, I just wondered if there was anything I could do to improve the reliability of the CSV import functionality?

    My first issue is that the CSV import seems to expect a value for the primary key of my table even though I’ve set it to “ignore field” in the interface setup and I can’t seem to find a way around it…

    Second (although it may be related) is that It doesn’t seem to be recognising line breaks when attempting a bulk import – the last field of a row gets concatenated to the first field of the next row… I’m exporting my CSV from excel for mac – is there a particular format you’ve used which the app is more comfortable with?

    thanks for the encouragement.

    yes the CVS importer is a little off. Havent had much use for it personally.

    I used windows format for testing so start there.
    LEt me know what you can figure out, I’m sure it will help.
