    Hi there!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. To help us assist you better, could you please let us know whether you’re using the default WooCommerce import feature or a third-party plugin to import the CSV file?

Additionally, could you please share your System Status Report, which you can find under WooCommerce → Status?

Please copy the report to https://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com/ and share the link in your reply here. Once we have this information, we’ll be able to assist you further.

    Hello!

I’m using the default import feature. Sure https://gist.github.com/reckiz/2935f9be16e49a86798ada4c77c8ed5a

    Hi @richardzed,

I tested this on my side using the sample products CSV and replaced the “Logo Collection” image column with two of the URLs you shared:

    https://domain.it/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/instanbul.jpeg
    https://domain.it/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/paris.jpeg

Unfortunately, the images weren’t uploaded. When I clicked on those links directly, they redirected to https://hosting.aruba.it/en/home.aspx instead of displaying the actual image.

It’s possible the import failed because the image URLs aren’t publicly visible. As noted in the documentation:

NOTE: Before importing, open the image URL in a browser to ensure that it is valid. If the image is visible, you can use it for import. If not, the URL may not be in the proper format.
In case of Dropbox or Google Drive images, ensure that the specified URL downloads the image to the system rather than just pointing at the image location.

You can find this guidance in the official docs: Import WooCommerce Product Images.

Could you try again with image URLs that are publicly accessible and visible in the browser, then re‑import? Let us know how it goes.

    Hello.

I’ve put domain.it just as a sample, the real products are at gabant.it

    Hi @richardzed,

I can see how confusing this situation is, especially when the CSV format looks correct and you are expecting all images to be picked up during the import. I want to make sure we are looking at the exact same image URLs you are using so we can narrow this down properly.

From the screenshot you just shared, it looks like the Images column contains URLs such as https://domain.it/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/instanbul.jpeg and https://domain.it/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/paris.jpeg, alongside additional URLs separated by a comma.

Could you please confirm whether these are the exact image URLs you attempted to import, or if they are different from the URLs shown in your earlier screenshot? This will help confirm whether the issue is related to the specific URLs being used or how they are being interpreted during import.

As my colleague @frankremmy mentioned earlier, WooCommerce relies on each image URL being directly accessible and publicly viewable in a browser. If even one of the URLs redirects, loads very slowly, or does not return the raw image file, the importer may skip additional images. You can review the requirements and examples here https://woocommerce.com/document/import-woocommerce-product-images/

Once you confirm the exact URLs you tested, we can take the next step together and see how it goes.

    Hi @richardzed,

Going back to what you shared earlier, I downloaded the exact sample CSV file from https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/blob/trunk/plugins/woocommerce/sample-data/experimental_sample_9_products.csv and tested importing it using the default WooCommerce product importer. On my test site, the import completed successfully and all product images were added correctly without any errors. You can see the result from my test here https://cln.sh/bl749n2Vlzh25C7n9v08.

To help us move this forward, could you please confirm whether you tested with this exact CSV file, without any modifications, and still experienced the issue where multiple images were not imported. If the sample file works on your end as well, that would strongly suggest the issue is specific to the image URLs or formatting used in your custom CSV, rather than the importer itself.

Once you confirm this, we can focus on the precise difference between the working sample and your file and take the next step together.

Never mind, the issue was related probably to the CSV file. I’ve uploaded the sample one and it worked so I’m now using Google Sheets and is working.

    Thanks anyway!
