• Hi everyone,

I am trying to understand this problem. During my searching, I haven’t found an error exactly as the one I’m seeing:

Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site http://valeriebrett.com [IXR -32300: transport error: http_request_failed cURL error 56: Recv failure: Connection reset by peer]

I’m not sure what to do. I need to install Jetpack to move a subscriber list from .com -> open source and I need Jetpack to do so. There is no export feature I believe for .com.

    Help?

  • if in case you where operating offline, the best thing to do would be you retaining the database and reinstall a newer version of WordPress
am pretty sure it will work out cool

if incase you are doing it for the first time, i propose repeating every thing from scratch

Hi there! Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site? To do so, follow these steps:

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Scroll down to the bottom and click “Debug”
    3) Click the link that says “Click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in your name, email address, and the description box with a link to this thread.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.

Then we’d be happy to look into this further. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

actually, when i tried it today, it worked. i suppose it could have been due to a network issue of some sort. maybe a firewall, VPN, or the fact that I was in another country.

@tzzel: Thanks for the update – just to confirm, is everything working as expected?
