    Hello,

Whenever I try to add a new plugin to my site or do an update to existing plugins I get the following error.

Installation failed: Download failed. cURL error 77: Problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?)

We don’t have an SSL Cert install on this site yet. My hosting company told me that a plugin was likely causing this error and after some trial and error I figured out that Simple Job Board was the culprit. Once I deactivated this plugin I was able to add new plugin per normal. I didn’t see anything in the settings of the plugin the was obvious. What can I do to set it so I can use this plugin and be able to update the other plugins and the WordPress itself.

    Thanks,
    Daniel

    Hello @halestorm,

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

It seems that you are experiencing this error due to PHP version. We have developed the Job Board plugin with PHP 7.

Please make sure you are using PHP version 7 on your server. If you are using an old version of the PHP, please update it to the latest version of the PHP and then see this issue.

Thank you for reaching us out. Let us know if your issue still persists.

    Regards,
