Hello Nikolaiii,
Well I think you’re right. At the moment only the default WooCommerce currency is supported. In the next update the plugin will be WPML compatible which also supports different currencies, but WooCommerce Currency Switcher was not on our todo list yet.
But I will look into it the coming days and I will report back to you if we will support WooCommerce Currency Switcher in one of our next updates.
Great thank you Michel for the quick response, we really appreciate it.
Finally I did some tweaks in the configuration and it seems to work for the default language when choosing WooCommerce Currency.
What other field would you configure to create a second feed for Google Shopping targeting another country with a different currency?
Wat you could do is in stead of using the WooCommerce Currency, you could select the “Fill with a static value” option and then enter a currency yourself. That way you can make different feeds for different target countries each with its own currency.
Thank you Michael for your quick response but I think using this solution won’t convert the price amount to the different country currency I guess?
Off course, you’re right. Had not thought of that.
But what you could do to solve that is to add an “edit value” to the price and then choose “recalculate” and then multiply it with a fixed value so you get the correct amount. This is a bit more work and you need to adjust the fixed value regularly, but it should give you a correct feed.
And when I’ve added support for the plugin you can automate this.
Thank you Michel, we’ll try doing it that way in the meantime!
