current_page_item class not being generated

    Is there any situation when WP wouldn’t generate the current_page_item class within wp_list_pages?

    I’m successfully using current_page_item for context-sensitive navigation across most of my site, but it’s not working within one section.

    I’ve found the current_page_item class is not being generated on Pages that also include a loop to return selected posts within that Page.

    Any suggestions?

    I have excactly the same problem. Altough the above was posted 5 months ago without anyone replying. I still hope someone has a solution to this.

    I never found a solution (or even really what the problem is) you can see the effects within this section of the website

    When you view a page the square bullet should be filled in, but this only happens on some of the pages.
