custom #_EVENTEXCERPT

I would like a link to the event when #_EVENTEXCERPT exceeds the allocated characters.
In made, it creates a […] but unrelated. Is it possible to make it clickable to the event?

I tried:

<Strong> Location: </ strong> #_LOCATIONTOWN <br>
#_EVENTEXCERPT {30}
<a href="#_EVENTURL"> [...] </a>

But I get a little inconvenience:

[…] […]

The first created by the non-clickable function and the second is the one I want.
