Custom block as submenu

I am pretty much stuck with the issue so now I am here, hoping someone could point me in to the right direction.

I have a custom menu that I use in my sites header, everything works fine so far. I am using thematic as my base.

I am trying to add a custom content for my submenu, for example:
– I have a “Products” link and I would ideally want to get it display a custom div with products image, short description and link when a customer hovers it.
– I have a “Support” link and I would like that to retain its original content(aka normal menu with list of li objects).

If anyone could point me to the right direction as of what to read or what plugin to look out for, I am all ears. Thank you!
