Hey Nick! I’ve been using OCeanWP for quite some time now and I LOVE the features available to customize. I love the idea for the Single post page where the post title is overlayed over the featured image. However, my actual post image displays twice (One overlayed below the post title and one below the actual title itself. Go to https://www.jasmcaus.com/where-the-early-birds-strike/ and see.

Is there a way of creating a template where it automatically selects itself whenever I create a new post?

Also, I would really love to edit the way my post page (The page where all my posts are displayed) and the meta information looks. I don’t want to use a page builder, I’d like to use any functionality of OceanWP.

Hello, for the images, you can disable the featured image in single posts via the Blog > Single Post section of the customizer.
For the meta, what do you want to do?

I’d like to individually apply some styles to it (but without CSS) and to remove the icons.

Hi, how do you want to customize something without css? If you want to add custom styles, it is with css 🙂

Well, i thought it might be possible with a page builder like Elementor! 🙂

Hi, it depends on what you want to do, it is it is just a little thing, you don’t need a page builder and it is better to use custom css but if you want to edit many things, yes, you can use Elementor Pro to do it.

How can I disable the featured image and the title of the post? I like the layout as seen here https://screenshots.firefox.com/Xpcmnytcz7bLzoJ8/www.jasmcaus.com but if that’s the case, then I don’t have the need for the actual featured image. There isn’t an option in the Customizer to disable the featured image, otherwise, it looks like https://screenshots.firefox.com/g4kC27rHxcBkdrak/www.jasmcaus.com

As mentioned before, I like the layout of https://screenshots.firefox.com/Xpcmnytcz7bLzoJ8/www.jasmcaus.com, so please help me in disabling the featured image and title for each post in such a way that a layout like https://screenshots.firefox.com/Xpcmnytcz7bLzoJ8/www.jasmcaus.com can be achieved

Also, I am having trouble with the positioning of my post as seen here https://www.jasmcaus.com/few-reasons-to-avoid-pirated-wordpress-themes/. What setting must i change?

Hi, go to the blog > Single Post section of the customizer, from there, you can disable and re-order elements.
