Hello yandoos, where is your custom image stored?
If I use the full https it just displays the url where the cart image should be.
Hi yandoos, when someone pays they get redirected to PayPal. PayPal is already a secured site. You can simply use http: instead of https: for your custom image.
Let me know if that helps you.
Yes i realise that but my site is also secure (for a number of reasons). Surely there must be a fix for a full url for cart image? It seems it would be quite a common thing
Hi yandoos, the developers will have to get back to you on this. I am not sure if this is an issue or not.
Kind regards

Can you please post a URL of the page where you have that button? Is that page using SSL?
The entire site is SSL secure. I have a few pages that have the buttons on. Here is one of them: https://annejones.org/?page_id=34
At the moment the custom image is set to http: I will change it to https now so you can see.
Thanks
Ok I’ll change the image url back to http so the buttons re-appear.
[Please don’t bump]
We have fixed this issue with using a HTTPS button URL in the settings.
In the mean time use the “button_image” parameter in the shortcode to use a HTTPS button image. Here is an example:
[wp_cart_button name=”Product Name” price=”19.95″ button_image=”https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_paynow_SM.gif”%5D
