on the create events page i want to know if there is a way of removing the Contact E-Mail body and Event external URL fields and also the Location Information section is having to be manual entered instead of using the drop down menu which im asking for in the settings.

Sadly to get access to this page a user needs to log in with correct role.
If required ill set up a temporary admin login for someone wanting to help

They are all named div-s, so you can use jquery and/or plain javascript to hide those.
And the drop-down in the settings works as expected: you select dropdown in the settings, and as a result you have a dropdown of locations. If you don’t want that, set that setting to ‘no’.

In the settings i have selected yes but on the form on the page there is no drop down.
    Use dropdown for locations?
    Yes
    No
Select yes to select location from a drop-down menu; location selection will be faster, but you will lose the ability to insert locations with events.
When the qtranslate plugin is installed and activated, this setting will be ignored and always considered ‘Yes’.

Are you having the issue in Events Made Easy or in the Frontend Submit plugin? Because that plugin has its own support forum …

its the form that allows a user to create and submit an event from the front end im having a problem with

That’s the frontend submit form. You actually posted your initial question in the wrong forum …
The frontend submit form doesn’t have an option like that, it uses autocomplete on the location.

ah sorry thought it was the same form and the frontend submit was just an extra
