But looking for the use of the theme CSS in the template, and custom CSS within <style> statements.
So:

No, Email Subscribers’ templates are independent of theme’s CSS.

I just tried and it is not working. However, we like the idea and forwarded it to our Product Management team to consider it as a feature request.
