    I am trying to get migrated over from Pirate Forms. The migration tool is huge help so thank you for that. I am trying to use custom CSS to make some simple changes to the confirmation text.

    .wpforms-confirmation-container-full {
    color: #000000;
    margin: 0 0 24px 0;
    background: #f1f1f1;
    border: 2px solid #aaaaaa;
    padding: 15px 15px;
    }

    Weirdly, it works fine on my test page https://wppov.com/temp-contact/

    But not on my live page https://wppov.com/privacy-policy-contact-kenny/

    Any ideas?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Well, I got it working, but only after hours of trying and failing, and only after editing the plugin css directly – not at all a best practice. I totally get that your plugin is awesome. It is very widely used and well reviewed – people love it. It is clearly powerful (way more so than I need) and user friendly (with the small exception – for me – of getting custom css to work). It’s just … Pirate Forms was perfect for me, and now it’s gone. And – just my opinion – the hideous lime green Confirmation Message background! What the heck were you thinking? Could not live with that. All that said, you provided a workable solution – the best currently available as far as I can tell – so thank you for that. Live long and prosper.

    Hi aCstudent,

    I’m glad to hear that you got this working, though I’m sorry that it was a frustrating process to get to that point with the custom styles.

    It sound like you got everything sorted that you were looking for, but just in case it helps down the road we have several tutorials to help with using custom CSS. Here are a few I’d particularly recommend:

    How to Style WPForms With Custom CSS (Beginner’s Guide): Changing form background color, adding a border, adjusting font sizes
    How to Customize the Style of Individual Form Fields: CSS selectors you’d need to target just about any part of a form
    How to Customize the Submit Button: Changing static and hover styles for submit buttons

    And for the confirmation message you mentioned: Remove confirmation message box styling

    If you have any additional questions, please just let us know. Thanks! 🙂

    Thank you Jess. Your plugin is working great for me now – it is awesome and so are you. The hideous lime-green background (which I notice you do not try to defend – and I don’t blame you, it would be impossible) is mercifully eradicated. I just gotta grow a pair and get over my school-girl crush for Pirate Forms. A couple of good reads, in addition to those you suggested…

    Damn. I can’t help it. I really miss Pirate Forms. I have to go cry now.
