Custom CSS not working on live server

Hi PrintFriendly,

I am currently working on a project which requires some custom CSS of the print friendly styling, I achieved this with no issues in my local development environment but when I replicate the changes on the live web server the changes get ignored!

I have double checked the path to the custom stylesheet and is the same as the local dev apart from the first part of the domain of course.

Also am I able to apply background images to the page through custom CSS?
