Custom Data Fields

    This is a pre-sales question:

    Is there the capability to customize the ‘Custom Data Fields’ and set these fields up ourselves? Or do they come pre-populated with the field names (uneditable)?

    We will need to customize this to heavy equipment as opposed to cars. So we will need fields like ‘# of hours’ as opposed to ‘Mileage’, etc.

    Yes, Car Demon allows you to customize fields for just this purpose.
    First you’ll want to grab the development version from;
    https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/car-demon.zip

    Next go to Dashboard->Cars For Sale->Car Demon Settings

    Scroll down to Tab Options and click on the Edit Vehicle Options Tab button.
    From there you can change labels or hide the hard coded fields and you can add or remove vehicle options.

    I’ll be posting a more detailed set of instructions on our site as soon as we release the next version.

    Make sure you’re using the development version and not version 1.3.0
