Custom date slug

    I tried using Custom Rewrite Slug to be the same as my regular post slug (the date):

    /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

    .. but it seems to come out explicitly, rather than adding the date in.

    Is there a way to do this?

    I’m after what my blog currently does:

    http://blogname.com/2016/01/06/name-of-my-post
