    Hi Jack

I am trying to cause the WP “featured image’ To appear on the emails that are sent for post notifications. When I use the short code [featured image] it just places the URL of the featured image in the email, but does not resolve it when the email is opened. Is there another way to do it?

ALso, Can the message body of the post notification screen be designed by other than the normal WP editor. Can it be designed by say Beaver Builder or Thrive page designers. If not is the message body located somewhere in the WP Database where it can be designed?

    Thanks
    Brian

    Hi @blctech,
    Thanks for your message.

Re: the featured image, I think this has been asked recently here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/post-image-20/

With regards to designing emails, you can try using another plugin to apply a style to around the message body. Something like WP HTML Mail might work but I haven’t test this. Alternatively, you can design and include CSS and HTML in the ‘Text’ view of the WYSIWYG editor when editing the notification and this will give you a bit of control over the design of the email too.

    Hope this helps.
