Custom Field (Date)

    I would like to add a ‘Register by ‘ to the event details. This is very common for events which have a ticket. I am using a custom text field, however I would like to use a date selection for event editors. Further, a before text and after text on the custom fields is a nice option to allow the entry to always say something specific. I like this because it reduces flexibitliy but adds clarity. EXAMPLE the before text might read ‘Register by ‘ and then there would be the custom field for the event editor.

    Any thoughts on how to extend the Create Event onto a public facing page or post, solving for community event calendars?

    Thank you for your question! Custom fields are a Pro feature and I believe you are using EventKoi Pro.

    I will follow up on your custom fields question via email, as you have also reached out to our Pro support.

    Regarding frontend submissions for community event calendars: We are in the midst of building this. This will most likely be a Pro feature as well.
