Custom field in Nextgen Widget?

The custom fields do not automatically link or show anywhere automatically, you need to insert a piece of code to get them showing.

That being said, the Widget doesn’t have a template to add that code as you normally would, so you need to ‘hack’ at the core NGG files. This means that any changes you make WILL be lost when you update NGG.

Are you trying to add a custom link to the images (as in alter the <a> wrapping the image), or just output some extra info for each image?
